Dear viewers of the “Teatr Na Dole” (Eng. Downstairs Theatre)! 25 04 2018 T– “Adam M’s Wild Ballads” - don't be afraid of Mickiewicz! Be afraid of phantoms, underwater cities, and ghosts - the story is told in such a way by Adam that you can lose yourself in the moment! Even the music is from the spirit of spirits. I have even increased the ticket price for students from free to five złotych, as they don’t want to come for free. All are very welcome! Joanna Szczepkowska

"Szczepkowska’s creations force you to think about how puzzling and how mysterious great acting is. In a way, a great actor is a disembodied being. It's not that they don't possess a body. They do of course, but they do something to it that causes the body to cease to exist as a material object. "

In 1989, she became renowned for her unexpected announcement of the “End of Communism” in the middle of an interview with a public television journalist. For her underground, patriotic activities, she was awarded with the Knight’s Cross, the Order of Polonia Restituta, and a Silver Cross of Merit. The controversy surrounding her journalism was widely echoed in public Polish debate, as well as in her artistic life. Painting with the use of modern techniques seems to be the next stage of her research.
